Some assumptions may have their roots in the distant past and have been formed before you possessed the ability to challenge them or even know you had made them. Others may be far more recent and the product of current life circumstances.
While we can’t change difficult situations of the past nor always control the context in which we currently find ourselves, we can learn ways to gain greater control over how we understand, feel and ultimately act in response to these circumstances. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, based largely on well established cognitive behavioral and systems theory principles, it is possible to unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
